Job Description

This business and product role is for an energetic Cloud Product Marketing Manager in AMD’s Cloud Business Group focused on our largest China cloud service provider (CSP) partners who provide public cloud platforms powered by AMD processors. You will define and drive go-to-market strategy and execution, sales enablement, and solutions marketing for AMD-powered platforms at designated cloud partners. This is a high impact, global role that is both customer and partner facing, and covers IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions across all vertical and horizontal markets. Most importantly, you will be an important AMD business leader driving programs to meet our annual business goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and drive go-to-market (GTM) strategy and the resulting tactical milestones with cross-functional teams
  • Thought leadership: create and evangelize product and marketing messaging and collateral for pre-design win Sales engagements, conferences, Sales trainings, and Proof-of-Concept demos
  • Foster and grow MDC, partner, and customer relationships
  • Satisfy end-customer acquisition goals and ensure revenue capture
  • Understand customers’ business goals and shape AMD-powered cloud instances’ value propositions that fulfill their needs and resonate with the customers
  • Be a strong advocate for customer and partner needs internally at AMD
  • Understand customer software and compute requirements, configurations, and applications to help guide solution development
  • Maintain awareness of, and provide reports on, customer status and key issues

Requirements

  • A thorough understanding of cloud platforms in China such as Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, and Bytedance Volcano Engine
  • Strong presentation and product marketing skills
  • The ability to craft and present business- and application-outcome centered value propositions
  • Strong and tactful cross-functional team leadership skills
  • A solid understanding of cloud customers’ business and their decision makers
  • Sales enablement focused
  • Significant experience in the software or computing industry at a cloud service provider, ISV, OEM, ODM, or technology provider
  • Significant experience in a customer-facing role
