Job Description:

The Cloud Product Manager is responsible for defining product strategy, working across Citi to engage applications teams to identity the need for new cloud products and services. The product manager will be responsible for cloud product service lifecycle, and new feature and product roadmaps. The role requires a talented technologist with experience working directly with engineering teams to delivery cloud services and products in an iterative, agile way.

Job Responsibility:

Define product strategy
Work across Citi to engage applications teams to identify need for new cloud products and services
Manage cloud product service lifecycle and new feature/product roadmaps
Manage all products from design to implementation to ongoing performance monitoring
Make strategic choices in onboarding, managing, and exiting vendors from product portfolio
Drive execution of all processes in product lifecycle including product research, competitor analysis, and requirements definition
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for engineering teams
Create product strategy documents describing business cases, use cases, and technical requirements
Work with engineering teams to develop curated services and enterprise cloud foundation
Work with cloud service providers to request feature enhancements and understand future releases

Requirements:

5+ years in a dynamic product management role
Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
5+ years experience of delivering products that leverage cloud services
Proven software delivery experience, working with development teams to drive iterative/continuous deployments
Strong technical understanding of software delivery, cloud native services, providers and tools
Demonstrable experience in helping to identify, drive, and facilitate external partnerships that accelerate product usage
Extensive track record leading product and engineering teams
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
Curious, problem solving leadership style
Able to develop, scale, and continuously cultivate a strong product culture and team

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering
Previous experience in software and web development
Understanding of value stream mapping and how to increase productivity of development teams
Track record of working in financial services or other regulated industries regarding leveraging of cloud services
Solid understanding of prioritisation methodologies and how to break work down using a lean approach
