Job Description

This customer-focused role centers on partnering with AMD’s Cloud datacenter partners across the US as they enable server solutions built on AMD silicon. In this role, you will support account strategy execution with designated partners and be at the forefront of nurturing AMD EPYC server CPU design-in and adoption.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the development of account strategy, set tactical milestones, and support the team in achieving them
  • Alongside Sales, serve as a primary contact for customer engagements, sharing new company technologies and products, and collaborating to meet design-in goals and revenue objectives
  • Guide and support all pre-design win activities and deliverables, including product and marketing collateral, product portfolio planning, technical summits, and Proof-of-Concept demos
  • Understand the customer’s business goals and requirements, shaping value propositions that fulfill their needs and resonate with them
  • Foster relationships, manage customer expectations, and ensure alignment with AMD’s business goals
  • Be a supportive advocate for the customer internally
  • Understand customer hardware and software requirements, configurations, and applications to help guide solution architecting accordingly
  • Maintain awareness of, and provide reports on, customer status and key issues
  • Strive for the highest levels of customer engagement and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Experience in the computing industry at the Cloud Provider, OEM, ODM, or Technology Provider level
  • Background in a customer-focused role
  • Knowledge of modern server platform architecture and datacenter infrastructure
  • Outstanding written and oral communications, strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly results-oriented
  • BS or higher in Engineering (Computer or Electrical) strongly preferred
  • MBA desired
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
