Job Description:

Coordinate the management of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Bridge between internal users (infrastructure, data and development teams) and external partner
  • Collect requirements and propose/implement improvements
  • Keep track of changes and improvements
  • Own the backlog and align with external partner
  • Go-to person for issues or incidents
  • Lead incident resolution
  • Define and maintain GCP usage guardrails (access, environments, policies)
  • Collaborate on FinOps: budgeting, tagging, cost tracking, optimization
  • Enable infrastructure, data and development teams
  • Optimize platform by defining templates and standards
  • Define service levels, alerting, and dashboards
  • Lead incident coordination and post-mortems
  • Collaborate with CISO to enforce security by default
  • Translate ISO/SOC requirements into platform checks
  • Manage change and risk through design reviews and exception handling

Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP)
  • Experience with Terraform (or similar) and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud integrations (on-prem, SAP, other clouds)
  • Clear communicator with ability to explain technical risk and cost in plain terms
  • Decisive governance and stakeholder management across multiple teams
  • Calm under pressure, especially during incidents and escalations
  • Vendor management experience with cloud providers and support partners

Nice to have:

  • GCP Professional certifications
  • Experience in retail or ecommerce environments
