The Cloud Operations Engineer (Azure) is responsible for managing software releases and overseeing cloud platform operations, ensuring reliability and performance across Azure-based IoT ecosystems.
Job Responsibility:
Manage software releases across QA → Load Test → Stage → Production environments
Execute and support OTA firmware releases
Launch and maintain mobile app releases to App Store and Google Play
Work with agile teams to build, test, and maintain CI/CD pipeline components
Support product NPI onboarding and participate in early sprint planning
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure environments
Perform L1.5–L2 support activities including monitoring, deployments, rollbacks, and platform health checks
Manage migrations across platforms or service providers
Ensure proactive performance monitoring and SLA compliance
Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices
Create and manage monitoring/alerting systems for cloud and connected device platforms
Lead and support 24x7 major incident management, including on-call support
Own end-to-end incident resolution from ticket creation to closure
Implement corrective actions to mitigate operational and security risks
Conduct periodic user access/security audits
Work closely with Engineering, Security, and other teams to evangelize Ops best practices
Participate in technical bridge calls and RCA sessions
Manage UI views for license consumption and performance analytics
Gather usage metrics and report insights to stakeholders
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems support
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools and pipelines
Strong understanding of Azure environments (PaaS & IaaS), including: VMs, Storage, Event Hub, Service Fabric Cluster, AKS, IoT Hub, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Databricks, Key Vault, Data Lake
