Job Description

The Cloud Solution Architect will be reporting to the Director of Technology and should be able to work in conjunction with the top management to strategize the company's outlook to improve business agility and provide modern delivery solutions to the Client. The Solution Architect should be able to show exemplary leadership and management traits to ensure the highest quality of service delivery while meeting contractual obligations and exceeding targets; should be able to lead and drive large enterprise-level engagements with complex automation initiatives and management of the project according to the given timelines, cost and without compromising the quality.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensures high availability of all environments and the achievement of all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs)
  • Defines the Service Operations Processes for AWS Cloud solutions
  • Production support and operations of Infrastructure (Servers, Network, Storage, Security) and Applications (Distributed, Middleware, Databases across all tiers)
  • Coordinate internal activities across the company and our cloud partners, ensuring achievement of the above responsibilities
  • Innovate and actively look for improvements to Cloud Operations
  • Identify and promote best practices and patterns for the setup, configuration and management including databases, servers, and network and storage systems
  • Maintain a team-oriented working environment that promotes a high level of personal commitment and accountability and a continued focus on quality and efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in emerging cloud technologies
  • 5+ years of hands-on application development experience
  • Extensive experience on AWS SDKs, well aware of AWS APIs and flows
  • Sound experience of CI / CD pipelines
  • Experience/Understanding on App Containerization, Docker / Kubernetes / EKS implementation on AWS
  • Deep understanding of service integration principles, business drivers in the Cloud transformation, emerging trends, System Architecture
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with stakeholders across Service Lines, Platform Managers, Business team, and external Suppliers
  • Good written and oral communication skills
