Job Responsibility

  • Be a part of an on-call rotation to help support our next-generation platform as it goes into production
  • Be a technical mentor for the team in services that support modern architectures
  • Work closely with our Cloud Infrastructure and Dev Ops team to support hand-offs and knowledge transfers
  • Work closely with application owners to ensure monitoring is scoped, accurate, and actionable
  • Identify adequate monitoring and alerting to ensure compliance with SLAs and business needs
  • Work to automate everything

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience with operational support of production workloads
  • Strong cloud infrastructure experience one or more environments including Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Strong Linux system administration
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work with a range of teams and skill sets

Nice to have

  • Certifications in one or more technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Harness, GitHub, and GitHub actions
  • Familiarity with production IoT workloads (device and cloud)
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation for both infrastructure and code
