In this role, you will work closely with Sales teams and cloud hyper-scalers to facilitate cloud Marketplace transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of the cloud Marketplace by driving engagement with internal Sales teams and with customers. Additionally, as the Cloud Marketplace Specialist, you will be working with vendors and the cloud hyperscalers to maximise Softcat's offerings. To succeed in this role, you must have a working knowledge of the different cloud Marketplaces offered by the hyper-scalers and experience working within the ISV partner ecosystem.
Job Responsibility:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive cloud Marketplace revenue
Support the success of the cloud Marketplace Partner programs and funding mechanisms
Understand the partner network and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Marketplace trends and developments
Provide proactive and reactive co-sell support to sellers and the Cloud Sales team, including assisting with developing proposals, demos, and other customer-facing materials
Continuously monitor and analyze Marketplace performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Assist Sales and Operations teams with the AWS Marketplace Channel Partner Private offer (CPPO) deal transaction process from development through distribution reconciliation
Own and manage cloud Marketplace enablement with Sellers to ensure greater adoption, acceleration and growth of cloud Marketplace
Support other Marketplace opportunities/transactions and the wider team as required
Requirements:
Proven experience selling cloud services and working with channel partners
Familiarity with AWS Cloud, AWS Partner Network, and hyperscaler marketplaces
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proven ability to grow revenue and support customers
Confidence working independently and making strategic decisions
