About the Team: The Cloud Operations Team sits within the Operations Function at Softcat and is dedicated to driving excellence in cloud strategy & execution. Your Role: You will sit within the Marketplace Cloud Enablement team where you will work closely with cross-functional teams with AWS, Microsoft & Google to facilitate Cloud Marketplace transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of Marketplace by driving engagement with internal Sales teams and with customers. Additionally, you will support the wider team with all stakeholder enablement, internal documentation, process improvements and supporting unmanaged vendors.

Job Responsibility

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive Cloud Marketplace revenue
  • Understand the AWS partner network and maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS Marketplace trends and developments
  • Provide proactive and reactive co-sell support to sellers and hyperscaler teams, including assisting with developing proposals, demos, and other customer-facing materials
  • Continuously monitor and analyze Cloud Marketplace performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Assist Sales and Operations teams with the procurement transaction process from development through distribution reconciliation
  • Support Cloud Marketplace enablement with Sellers to ensure greater adoption, acceleration and growth

To include partner experience and engagement, co-branding and messaging, events, advocacy, media relations, demand generation, activation, and enablement.
  • Shape funding strategies for partner marketing initiatives — including the use of contra revenue, MDF (market development funds), and opex — ensuring alignment with business priorities, ROI targets, and partner performance tiers.
  • Create processes and identify technologies (e.g., partner portals, marketing automation tools, marketplaces, communities) to support partner marketing, regulatory compliance, and measurement of partner impact.
  • Drive measurement of ROI for partner ecosystem marketing investments, incentives, programs, and activities.
  • Work with internal sales, product, and marketing teams to align on priorities and deliver cohesive GTM execution and support partner needs.
  • Integrate into a Partners Account Based Marketing Strategies for priority and named accounts
  • Create compelling joint value propositions and messaging, and maintain a library of partner-facing assets, including co-branded pitch decks, one-pagers, email templates, and "battlecards" to help partners sell our solution effectively.
  • Act as the primary marketing contact, cultivating relationships and driving engagement within the partner ecosystem.
  • Manage the "Partner Portal" and newsletters to keep our ecosystem informed on product updates, incentives, and new marketing resources.
