Cloud Manager

• Overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the cloud infrastructure
• Ensuring that the cloud-based systems are stable, secure, and operating efficiently
• Leading a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Overseeing the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• Managing and mentoring a team of cloud engineers and IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures to protect cloud infrastructure and data, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to optimize performance and reliability
• Managing relationships with cloud service providers and vendors, ensuring services are delivered according to contractual agreements
• Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data loss
• Creating and managing budgets for cloud infrastructure projects, recommending cost-saving measures where appropriate
• Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance infrastructure and security

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on designing and managing cloud-based systems
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Extensive experience in network security, virtualization, and data management
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) models
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, and containerization
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption methods, and identity management
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python) for Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts, virtual private clouds, and network security
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and collaboration
• Ideally IT Infrastructure and ITIL know-how
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
