The Cloud Platform Engineer designs, builds, and operates core cloud infrastructure and platform services that enable secure, scalable, and automated solutions across AWS and GCP. This role focuses on creating standardized, reusable components—such as account provisioning, identity integration, networking foundations, and CI/CD pipelines—that accelerate product development while maintaining governance and operational excellence. The engineer collaborates closely with DevOps, Security, and Governance teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and cost-efficient platforms supporting enterprise workloads.
Job Responsibility:
Engineer, deploy, and maintain foundational cloud services across AWS and GCP, including identity, networking, compute, and automation platforms
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for repeatable and auditable deployments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions to support platform automation and service delivery
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging standards for platform services using native and third-party observability tools
Partner with Cloud Governance and Security Engineering to enforce tagging, compliance, and access guardrails across accounts and projects
Contribute to platform blueprints, documentation, and knowledge sharing to ensure consistent patterns and standards across teams
Support troubleshooting, incident response, and service improvement efforts for platform-related components
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps, with a focus on AWS and/or GCP infrastructure
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions or similar)
Knowledge of core cloud services: IAM, networking, compute, storage, and monitoring
Familiarity with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or GKE) and cloud-native security principles
Ability to work in an Agile environment, collaborating across multiple teams and disciplines
Nice to have:
Experience with multi-cloud architecture or hybrid cloud environments
