As a Cloud FinOps Analyst, you will drive cloud cost optimization and financial governance across AWS (primarily), GCP, and our internal cloud environments. Working closely with Engineering, account owners, and Finance, you will ensure cost efficiency, transparency, and accurate reporting, helping balance performance, scalability, and business priorities.

Requirements:

  • Cloud Accounts Management: Create and structure new cloud accounts in line with product lines and governance standards, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  • Monitoring & Cost Control: Track daily cloud usage against budgets, detect anomalies, and proactively alert stakeholders to prevent overspending
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement optimization opportunities (rightsizing, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances), and manage commitments lifecycle to maximize cost efficiency
  • Reporting & Analysis: Produce regular cost reports, maintain documentation of cloud commitments, perform cost allocation analysis, and improve reporting automation accuracy
