The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. This role involves working with cloud platforms, automating deployments, and optimizing performance for business-critical applications.
Job Responsibility:
Design and deploy cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost optimization
Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into cloud environments
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents
Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience in cloud engineering or similar role
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
