We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer Intern to join FSP on an industrial placement as part of their university degree, starting in September 2026. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the delivery and support of cloud-native solutions for our clients and internal teams. As part of our Cloud Engineering & Platforms team, you’ll gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and modern software development practices. You will work across the delivery lifecycle in a collaborative and supportive environment designed to help you grow your technical skills and confidence. This role works closely with colleagues and clients in the UK, so fluency in English is a prerequisite.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the delivery of cloud-based solutions as part of a wider project team
Develop and enhance applications using C# and Microsoft Azure services
Support the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native architectures
Write clear, secure, and maintainable code following best practices
Assist with testing, deployment, and ongoing support of live solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation to support delivered solutions
Requirements:
A genuine interest in software development and cloud technologies
Experience with C# or a similar object-oriented programming language
A basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and databases
Able to communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
An analytical, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn
Fluent in English, with the ability to work effectively with UK-based colleagues and clients
Starting or within the final year of university (degree to be completed 2027)
