Job Description:

As a Cloud Engineer for AWS, you will design, build and optimize cloud infrastructure to support scalable and reliable data solutions. Your work will drive platform innovation, ensuring seamless data processing and system performance in a dynamic cloud environment.

Job Responsibility:

Design and build cloud-based infrastructure
Implement real-time streaming and batch ingestion for large datasets
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability
Provide documentation and blueprints to tribe members
Co-Create the platform strategy of the Tribe

Requirements:

Team player
solution-oriented
open-minded
strong communication skills
English proficiency is a must, with German language as a strong advantage
2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS (IaaS, Terraform, Container, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Cloud Cost Monitoring, etc.)
2+ years of experience with GitHub and Jenkins (or Github Actions)
2+ years of experience with ANSI SQL and programming
(optional) experience with Snowflake, DBT, Apache (or Confluent) Kafka
(optional) experience with Python or GO, Monitoring (Dynatrace, Grafana etc.)

Nice to have:

experience with Snowflake

Apache (or Confluent) Kafka
Python or GO
Monitoring (Dynatrace, Grafana etc.)
