Are you passionate about IT, experienced in Cloud, DevOps techniques and convinced by the business added value of digitalization? One key component of this Digital Transformation is the implementation of solutions to enable the data-value chain in Airbus and its Division and to make the best use of Data in Airbus, whether to optimize our business processes or to create new business values via data monetization. Airbus is looking for one Cloud DevOps Engineer to join in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will assess and understand business needs focussing on FinOps & automations transversally across Big Data Platforms within Airbus and thereafter translate such into IT solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing and developing solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements at scale for business needs
  • Involvement in the full delivery lifecycle – responsible for designing, implementing, testing, documenting, supporting and operating libraries & frameworks
  • Implementing test automation covering multiple test aspects, like unit testing, functional testing, security testing, load and performance testing
  • Developing using CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of IT assets across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production
  • Packaging, maintaining and deploying development tooling
  • Publishing and maintaining high quality technical documentation such as guideline documents and standards
  • Coaching, mentoring and enabling other Software Engineers
  • Responsible for tech watching and proposing recommended state of the art solutions

Requirements

  • Engineering graduate/post-graduate
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in developing, delivering Cloud (preferrably AWS), DevOps based solutions
  • Strong understanding of software development, design concepts and principles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining applications at scale
  • Strong scripting abilities using Java or Python and their related frameworks
  • Mandatory experience in AWS Services like Lambdas / EC2/ ECS / RDS / S3 / SQS / DynamoDB / SNS
  • Experience in monitoring using SIEM / Event Logging tools & workflow automations
  • Should be proficient and able to guide on using Serverless, CDK & Terraform for AWS Stacks
  • Strong knowledge in DevSecOps products/tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Checkmarx, Sonarqube, Artifactory, Splunk, Jira & Confluence etc.
  • Knowledge with Cloud platform AWS is required
  • Experience in Linux scripting and Powershell
  • Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of continuous integration frameworks and some of the following products/tools: VersionOne, Klaxoon, etc.
  • Knowledge on support processes (ITSM) & incident management using ServiceNow
