Job Description

This is a Contract position where you will take on a leadership role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure automation, with a focus on security and scalability.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, ensuring integration of security and quality checks
  • Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure automation solutions using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
  • Oversee container orchestration efforts using Kubernetes and manage cloud-native services on AWS GovCloud
  • Establish and promote enterprise-level DevSecOps reference architectures and reusable pipeline templates
  • Integrate security controls, automated testing, and quality gates into all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Guide platform engineering teams in creating sustainable, automated solutions for deployment and environment configurations
  • Ensure compliance with Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity, network, and data protection
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions that align with organizational goals
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevSecOps squads, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency
  • Drive the adoption of state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to enhance system performance and security

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in DevSecOps leadership roles
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, along with expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
  • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies, including AWS GovCloud, EC2, and Auto Scaling
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
  • Familiarity with security integration tools such as Snyk, Aqua Security, and Checkmarx
  • Programming skills in Python, Go, and Bash to support automation and system development
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
