Job Description:

Technical Expert in Cloud Data Catalog roles focuses on the technical aspects of data discovery, organization, and governance within a cloud environment. He/she is responsible for implementing, managing, and extending data catalog solutions with 3 - 5 years hands-on experience in Informatica's Cloud Data Governance and Catalog. These experts also ensure data quality, data lineage, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Data Catalog Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain data catalog solutions, including metadata management, search, and collaboration features
  • Metadata Management: Develop and enforce metadata standards, ensuring data is properly documented and understood
  • Data Discovery and Lineage: Automate data discovery, curation, and lineage tracking across various data sources, including cloud and on-premises systems
  • Data Quality: Implement and monitor data quality metrics and standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Cloud Integration: Integrate data catalogs with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and other enterprise systems
  • Custom Solutions: Develop custom workflows, APIs, and scripting solutions to extend catalog capabilities
