Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, particularly within GCP BigQuery environments. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building scalable cloud-native applications, collaborating with data teams, and ensuring high performance and security standards across cloud infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Write and debug complex SQL and PL/SQL queries within GCP BigQuery
  • Build and maintain infrastructure using GCP tools such as Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Cloud Run
  • Collaborate with data engineers to process and manage large datasets using GCP services including BigQuery and Cloud Storage
  • Apply best practices for performance optimisation, security, and scalability of cloud applications
  • Develop unit tests and maintain documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and debug cloud-based applications in production environments
  • Work on cloud-native development projects
  • Apply understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems and data processing frameworks
