Job Description:

The Cloud Architect role is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

Job Responsibility:

Leading engineering activities including design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure

Taking ownership of solution design, security integration, and cross-platform interoperability

Requirements:

Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions, primarily SaaS cloud services with an emphasis on Microsoft 365
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with enterprise identity and security frameworks
Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based networking and application performance
Support governance and compliance initiatives, including eDiscovery and data protection
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Working knowledge of Microsoft GraphAPI and security controls
Working knowledge of Microsoft M365 Messaging and Collaboration services – Workloads, Purview Information protection, Compliance and data governance
Working knowledge of Copilot Design, Controls and governance
Working knowledge of Integration with Entra ID (Azure AD)
Experience designing and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions
Familiarity with Proxy configurations and PAC files
Familiarity with SASE architecture
Familiarity with DNS, routing, and firewall management
Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization
Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Understanding of Encryption and data protection
Understanding of Least Privilege Access principles
Understanding of Network security best practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
Comfortable presenting technical solutions to management
6–10 years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering roles
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Security Engineer Associate)
Experience in enterprise or hybrid cloud environments
Master's degree
