Job Responsibility

  • Design and present high-level and low-level cloud architecture diagrams and documentation for infrastructure, networking, security, and application deployments
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cloud strategy, including workload migration approaches (e.g., re-host, re-platform, re-factor), cloud-native development best practices, and cost optimization (FinOps)
  • Lead the implementation of cloud environments using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, promoting automation and repeatability
  • Design and implement robust security controls, identity and access management (IAM) policies, and governance frameworks to meet enterprise security and compliance requirements
  • Architect CI/CD pipelines and promote a culture of automation for application deployment and infrastructure management, enabling developer velocity
  • Act as the senior technical expert on cloud technologies for both the client and internal Codvo teams, providing mentorship and hands-on guidance

Requirements

  • 10+ years in IT/Software Engineering with at least 4+ years in a dedicated, hands-on Cloud Architect role
  • Expert-level knowledge and implementation experience with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers) and security best practices (e.g., defense in depth, zero trust)
  • Deep proficiency with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
  • Good understanding of modern infrastructure for AI applications, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic solutions. Experience designing infrastructure that incorporate AI/ML systems is crucial
  • Strong ability to communicate technical designs and strategies effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders in a consultative manner
