Requirements
Strong understanding of AWS-native architectures (multi-account strategy, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge) and ability to codify infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt/OpenTofu with reusable modules aligned to Chofer standards
Deep familiarity with AWS networking (VPC design, Transit Gateway routing, Route53 DNS, secure file transfer patterns) with the ability automate processes around the provisioning, de-provisioning and auditing of the resources
Ability to upscale the existing Chofer onboarding, offboarding, and break-glass services into fully automated, API-driven workflows using ServiceNow and Chofer APIs, minimizing manual approvals and human intervention
Hands-on development using Python/NodeJS to build orchestration layers, API integrations, and event-driven automation with strong focus on resiliency, idempotency, and secure coding practices
Ability to analyze ServiceNow/cloud support request data using SQL to identify repetitive patterns and systematically eliminate toil by building self-service and AI-ready automation pipelines (structured inputs/outputs, telemetry, and reusable APIs)
