As a Cloud & AI Solution Architecture Director, you will lead a highly experienced team of Chief Cloud Solution Architects. Your team’s mission is to accelerate customer adoption of secure, reliable cloud platforms and AI-driven solutions. Your team aligns technical strategy with business outcomes, and they turn complex consumption plans into predictable delivery. By applying Enterprise Architecture practices and you and your team partners with customer executives and internal stakeholders to modernize applications, unify data platforms, strengthen resiliency and security, and drive responsible AI. You build a culture of technical excellence, measurable impact, and continuous personal growth while working with the largest enterprise customers in Germany. Job Responsibility:
Build and lead a high‑performing team of Chief Cloud Solution Architects. Set clear expectations, develop talent through coaching, and hold individuals accountable for measurable outcomes
Ensure the team drives material business and technical outcomes for Microsoft’s largest strategic enterprise customers in Germany. Guide customers toward secure, sustainable cloud and AI solutions aligned to long‑term platform adoption
Provide deep enterprise architecture leadership across AI, application modernization, data platforms, infrastructure, networking, and security. Enable trusted decision‑making for complex cloud and AI architectures based on customer business vision
Partner with customer executives and internal stakeholders to align technical strategy with business outcomes
Own delivery and consumption governance to ensure engagements land, expand, and deliver predictable outcomes. Drive workload motions across AI, applications, data, and infrastructure to build a healthy, forward‑leaning pipeline

Requirements:
Demonstrated experience successfully leading in a comparable Enterprise Architecture or strategic technical leadership environment, including having previously built, scaled, and managed a senior architecture or technical strategy team
Proven experience leading Enterprise Architecture in complex organizations, translating customer business strategy, operating models, and organizational structures into scalable cloud, application, data, security, and AI architectures that drive sustainable business outcomes
Demonstrated ability to understand how enterprise customers are structured and operate—including business units, IT, architecture, security, finance, and decision governance—and to align architectural recommendations with business priorities, investment models, and transformation agendas
Extensive experience in customer facing roles, acting as a trusted Enterprise Architecture advisor to large enterprise customers, guiding modernization journeys across applications, data platforms, infrastructure, security, and AI
Proven success leading executive level conversations with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, Chief Architects, and business leaders, clearly articulating architectural tradeoffs and connecting technical decisions to business value, risk, and financial impact
Deep experience designing and governing enterprise architectures on AZURE, integrating application modernization, data & analytics, AI, infrastructure, networking, identity, and security into coherent enterprise landscapes
Ability to connect Enterprise Architecture decisions to customer business models, transformation roadmaps, investment tradeoffs, and long-term value realization
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency in both German and English (Level C2 or higher), with experience working with large enterprise customers in Germany.
