We are looking for a skilled Cloud Administrator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has a strong background in cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation. The successful candidate will manage and optimize cloud-based systems, ensuring secure and efficient operations across multi-cloud environments.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and support cloud infrastructure in commercial or government settings, ensuring optimal performance and security
Utilize services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Route 53, and Certificate Manager to monitor and maintain operations
Oversee multi-cloud environments, including Azure and Google Workspace, with comprehensive infrastructure management
Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible to streamline provisioning and configuration
Configure and manage networking solutions, including policies, certificates, and compliance validation
Integrate and maintain Active Directory and identity management solutions such as Okta
Develop and execute automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to enhance operational efficiency
Administer cloud-based systems for Linux and Windows environments, providing monitoring and optimization
Analyze cloud billing data to identify and implement cost-saving strategies
Support application and infrastructure monitoring to ensure reliability and performance
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in commercial or government environments
Hands-on expertise with AWS technologies, including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty
Familiarity with multi-cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Workspace
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible
Strong knowledge of networking and security principles, including policy editing and certificate management
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs effectively
Nice to have:
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
