We are looking for a skilled CLO Modeler to join our team on a long-term contract in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in risk management and credit risk modeling who are eager to contribute to the successful transition and optimization of payment systems. As a CLO Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and converting collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) to advanced models while supporting reporting initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement advanced models for collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) to support payment system transitions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and data analysis
  • Utilize risk management frameworks to assess and mitigate credit risks associated with leveraged loans and structured products
  • Perform detailed analysis of loan structures and waterfall methodologies to optimize payment processes
  • Support business intelligence initiatives by generating user-friendly reports using specialized reporting tools
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve challenges related to payment system conversions

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in risk analysis, credit risk management, or related fields
  • Strong proficiency in advanced modeling techniques, including CLO modeling and waterfall methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with reporting tools and business intelligence platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of loan structures, leveraged loans, and credit risk models
  • Expertise in risk management frameworks and strategies
  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools
  • Familiarity with programming languages used in financial modeling is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
