Join a Dermatology Team as a Clinical Trials Pharmacist / Coordinator! Job Responsibility:

  • Complete patient visits under supervision, including performing ECGs and collecting/processing lab specimens
  • Dispense and prepare clinical trial medications while managing the drug supply and clinic inventory
  • Manage scheduling for clinics and trial visit windows to ensure strict compliance
  • Communicate with Sponsors, on-site monitors, patients, referring doctors, and third-party vendors
  • Assist in the care of patients on complex drug programs (e.g., biologics), including liaising with the PBS and pharmaceutical representatives
  • Proactively identify and recruit potential participants for clinical trial programs

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Current unconditional registration with AHPRA
  • Experience with dispensary and inventory control systems, plus excellent computer and data entry skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and professional stakeholders
  • A strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to learn new knowledge relating to clinical research studies

  • CLINICAL TRIAL OPERATIONS: Responsible for the oversight of their disease group's clinical trial portfolio and all related regulatory, compliance and performance metrics requirements.
  • Oversee the processing of protocols through DFCI Institutional Review Board (and other institutions' IRBs) when appropriate.
