Great opportunity to join the Cancer Services Clinical Trials Unit at Sunshine Hospital. Cancer Services at Sunshine Hospital has a dedicated team of research staff coordinating phase 1-4 Oncology and Haematology trials. We are seeking motivated part-time Clinical Trial Assistants to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical research. Previous experience in a clinical trials setting, data management, healthcare, or a similar role is desirable but not essential and we offer comprehensive on-the-job training and mentoring, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a flexible working environment to support your career growth in clinical research.

Job Responsibility

  • Participant management and study support
  • Regulatory and ethics documentation
  • Laboratory and specimen management
  • Data management and entry
  • Financial and administrative aspects of clinical trial coordination

Requirements

  • Qualification in Health Sciences or an equivalent discipline
  • Experience in a healthcare and/or clinical research setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Completion of a Clinical Trial Assistant course or equivalent training (desirable)
  • Previous experience supporting clinical trials or research projects (desirable)
