We are looking for a Clinical Team Leader with strong clinical skills to join our team at Great Oaks Nursing Home. The key responsibilities of the Clinical Lead is to oversee all aspects of clinical care. You will provide inspiring leadership and development of the clinical care team ensuring we deliver the highest quality of care to our residents. We require a Nurse with a high degree of flexibility. You will have a mix of supernumerary and clinical shift work to include coaching and development of the teams on shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse with strong leadership skills to grow and develop their career.
Job Responsibility:
Developing, promoting and maintaining high standards of care, medications management and clinical services, where residents are safe and well protected
Leading the home’s clinical quality control systems and coaching staff to ensure quality standards are met and staff are engaged in this area, and practice transparency
Supporting the Manager in developing and managing effectively and efficiently the financial, human and material resources
Inspiring leadership and motivation of the clinical staff team, and the wider team, supporting the Manager to foster a positive culture where individuals are supported to achieve their best.
Requirements:
Qualified nurse, either RMN or RGN, with an active NMC pin
Thorough understanding of the five guiding principles of first class care: SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE, WELL-LED
Experience at supervisory level, ideally within a nursing home, having previously worked as one of the following: Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager or Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse etc.
