Job Description:

Applications are invited from suitably qualified General Dental Surgeons for multiple part-time (0.2FTE) Clinical Teaching Fellow posts in Primary Dental Care to work on Thursdays and/or Mondays to supervise student teaching clinics or in the clinical simulation environment. This role is ideal for skilled General Dental Practitioners who would like to expand their clinical portfolio by teaching and favourably influencing the education of the next generation of dentists whilst developing professional relationships with colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

The postholder will be expected to inspire learning and skills development in student clinics and the simulation laboratory to ensure students are equipped to deliver optimal patient care
The postholder will support the achievement of these aims
Our student clinics aim to provide holistic, good quality primary dental care in a caring environment that is optimised for student learning
to facilitate student learning through the provision of adequate materials, equipment, time and feedback and to enable students to meet the clinical requirements for graduation and prepare them to become independent dental practitioners
