Job Responsibility:

  • Work with a diverse population of students
  • Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs
  • Record and report student progress
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing techniques and relation to medical surgical practices
  • Ability to supervise the administration of nursing measures prescribed

Requirements:

  • Hold current NYS Registered Nurse License
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrate five (5) or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Hold or demonstrate ability to hold NYSED Adult Education Certification

Nice to have:

  • BSN degree
  • Teaching experience
  • Three (3) or more years of medical surgical nursing experience
  • Two (2) or more years of caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill
  • Knowledge of curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Promoting equity and culturally responsive practices to create inclusive environments

  • Travel to customers and potential customers’ facilities nationally and internationally
  • Be responsible for forecasting and reporting within the territory, developing the territory business plan and budget and meeting the overall territory sales goals
