Dovehaven Care Homes are Recruiting for a Clinical Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Deanwood Manor in Orrell, working DAYS - 2 x 12-hour shifts per week - 7am - 7pm on a rota basis - with alternate weekend availability required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the care team within the Home
  • Ensuring that care staff are adhering to CQC guidelines whilst providing exceptional levels of care to residents
  • Promoting and delivering high standards of care
  • Supervising and instructing less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
  • Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
  • Team player but able to work on your own initiative
  • Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
  • Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
  • An NVQ level 3 in health & social care is required along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care

  • CLINICAL TRIAL OPERATIONS: Responsible for the oversight of their disease group's clinical trial portfolio and all related regulatory, compliance and performance metrics requirements.
  • Oversee the processing of protocols through DFCI Institutional Review Board (and other institutions' IRBs) when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the DFCI Clinical Trials Office (CTO), the Office for Human Research Studies (OHRS) and the Quality Assurance for Clinical Trials (QACT) to fulfill local and federal requirements governing human clinical trials.

  • Oversees and coordinates the purchase, receipt, inventory and distribution of equipment utilized in the conduct of clinical trials.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical research administration and grant managers to help monitor and reconcile all study and related grant finances as needed.
