Job Description

Clinical Senior Care Assistant (Days) at Cedar Garden Care Home, Tag Lane, Preston. 22 hour contract, two days a week, 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm on a rota basis with every other weekend availability required.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the care team within the Home
  • Ensuring care staff are adhering to CQC guidelines
  • Providing exceptional levels of care to residents
  • Promoting and delivering high standards of care
  • Supervising and instructing less experienced staff

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
  • Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
  • Team player but able to work on your own initiative
  • Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
  • Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
  • NVQ level 3 in health & social care is essential along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care
