Job Description

We are currently seeking a Clinical Sample Processor I to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Clinical Sample Processor I at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in the collection, processing, and tracking of clinical trial samples to ensure accurate and timely analysis, contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

Job Responsibility

  • Receive daily shipments of samples and other materials
  • Assess the samples upon receipt
  • Enter data in ICON’s Lab Database
  • Store samples based on protocol specifications
  • Perform a quality check of controlled forms
  • Scan paperwork, archive visits and other regulated documentation
  • Barcode labelling and validation of specimens
  • Transport specimens to the technicians in the laboratory to be analyzed
  • Adhere to OSHA and the Company's Health and Safety regulations and security procedures
  • Document and research any problems with received specimen

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Basic working knowledge of computers and accuracy and attentiveness to detail
  • An alternate combination of experience, education and training by management

  • Identifies and modifies incorrect orders placed based on specific order requirements for various specimen types
