The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will join the Early Learning and Experience: Variability in Assessment and Trajectories in Early childhood (ELEVATE) team in the Nelson Lab. This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Candidates should be available to work evenings and weekends on occasion as needed.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate day-to-day operations and functions for ELEVATE, a study designed to validate a pre-harmonized set of data collection tools to evaluate individual differences in learning and cognition in preschoolers
Working with and coordinating a team of undergraduate students and staff associated with the research project, along with IRB management, and preparing progress reports
Work closely with team members on the development, coordination, and implementation of research procedures and day-to-day operations under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, or related field. Master’s preferred
2 years of experience, 3 years of experience or more preferred
Experience working with infants or children in a research setting
Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
2-year commitment to the position
Computer skills including working knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems, as well as statistics software (e.g., Excel, SPSS)
Ability to assist with grant preparation, publications, presentations, and/or applications to an Institutional Review Board
High level of motivation
ability to work independently and as part of a team
excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
