The Clinical Research Associate is an integral part of Equip’s Clinical Excellence team and will be responsible for carrying out our mission to not only improve access to treatment for all patients with an eating disorder but to pioneer new research to improve long-lasting recovery. The Clinical Research Associate will work closely with the VP of Clinical Excellence to serve as the point person for the design and execution of internal and external research initiatives. This individual will act as a cross-functional bridge, ensuring that Equip’s services are validated through rigorous research and statistical analysis. The Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of research, from the initial framing of internal pilot studies to the dissemination of findings through peer-reviewed publications and internal data reporting. This role requires a blend of clinical intuition, technical statistical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with non-research teams to drive data-informed decisions.
Job Responsibility:
Work with Equip’s Data Science Team and Clinical Leadership to lead the end-to-end design of internal research projects
Work with Equip’s Data Science Team and Clinical Leadership to meet Equip’s research mission and objectives by performing advanced statistical modeling and analysis
Manage the lifecycle of IRB submissions
Conduct literature and scientific reviews, inform team reports, own manuscript and conference presentation preparation and submission, present at academic meetings, assist with grant proposals
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Doctorate Degree in psychology, public health, clinical science, behavioral science, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education and years of professional experience
Research interests aligned with the mission of Equip Health
Strong academic writing skills as evidenced by peer reviewed publications and conference presentations
Skilled at advanced statistical tests, quantitative research, and research study design
Proficient in SQL, statistical software (R strongly preferred), and Git/Github
Ability to work independently, excellent organization and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented
