Job Responsibility

  • Consents and enrolls patients for research studies
  • Reviews clinical information to identify patients meeting study inclusion criteria
  • Serves as liaison to families/patients in research studies
  • Coordinates follow up visits
  • Troubleshoots resolution of issues
  • Coordinates and prepares documentation for IRB submissions
  • Assists in developing supportive study documents
  • Assists with tracking and compilation of enrollment information
  • May assist with preparation of manuscripts
  • May help train and orient newly hired study personnel
  • Coordinates activities with various departments
  • Monitors and reviews data collection and data entry

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Science
  • Strong interest in gynecology/women's health
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, REDCap, Microsoft Access and/or SAS desirable
  • Familiarity with basic lab practices and comfort handling bio specimens preferred
  • Ability to lift 40lb freezer racks is essential
