Job Description:

Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Mental Health Professional (Clinical Psychologist) for a full-time role in San Diego, CA. The position is hybrid, with approximately 10% onsite in the City Heights office, and includes providing mental health assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan. The MHP may serve as a primary clinician, clinical supervisor, or case manager depending on program assignment.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including DSM-5-TR diagnostic evaluations and clinical formulation
Administer and interpret psychological tests and screening tools as clinically indicated
Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities
Perform risk assessments for suicidality, homicidality, and danger to self or others, and implement appropriate safety planning
Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, and community agencies to ensure coordinated patient care
Provide crisis intervention, stabilization services, and clinical consultation as needed
Facilitate referrals to appropriate levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and residential treatment programs

Requirements:

Current CA Clinical Psychology License
2 years of experience preferred
Credentialed with Optum and PAVE preferred
