Job Description:

We are seeking to add a clinical psychologist to our growing clinical testing program with competency in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, experience working with a pediatric, adolescent and adult population, and a special interest in Autism and other assessments. The ideal candidate will conduct diagnostic evaluations, evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families as part of a clinically excellent program. Job Responsibility:

  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures
  • Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations
  • Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation
  • Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the District of Columbia
  • Have clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship
  • Experience with completing psychological evaluations
  • Familiarity with working with and/or within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
