Job Description:

Join one of the nation’s leading pharmacy care management providers as a Pharmacy Technician, helping improve health outcomes for patients with complex, chronic needs. In this critical role, you’ll support the preparation, packaging, and delivery of medications and medical supplies while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and pharmacy regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contact patients/caregivers to schedule deliveries, confirm supply needs, and provide ongoing service support
  • Accurately pick, pack, label, and dispense prescription medications and supplies under pharmacist supervision
  • Perform pharmaceutical calculations and aseptic techniques for basic compounding tasks
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, track infusion pumps, clean room equipment, and comply with safety and QA standards
  • Assist with pharmacy documentation, regulatory compliance, and incident reporting while ensuring HIPAA adherence

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license (must be valid in the state of Illinois)
  • National Certification (PTCB or NHA) – Required prior to second license renewal
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Direct patient or caregiver interaction experience via phone
