Job Description:

Hunter AHP have a fantastic new locum opportunity for an experienced Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist to join a supportive NHS hospital team based in Worcestershire. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, working across a diverse range of clinical wards, with an immediate start available. The contract is ongoing and ideal for a pharmacist confident in hospital clinical duties.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver clinical pharmacy services to a range of inpatient wards
Conduct medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and discharge planning
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective prescribing
Ensure adherence to local formulary and NHS trust policies
Contribute to audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

GPhC-registered Pharmacist
Significant NHS hospital experience (Band 7 or 8a level)
Strong clinical knowledge across a variety of acute and general ward settings
Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
Full Monday to Friday availability
