Clinical Pharmacist

• Help doctors and nurses safely prescribe and dispense medications
• Review every prescription in your queue for final safety check
• Review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies or anything unusual
• Interpret medication orders and/or prescriptions for drug interactions, appropriate drug selection and appropriateness
• Accurately enter / verify the order or prescription into the computer system, label, and dispense medications in a timely manner
• Verify and check medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals
• Resolve drug related problems by consulting with other health care professionals
• Clarify unclear orders written by a licensed provider
• Assist the licensed provider in appropriate drug selection and therapeutic regimens
• Provide basic clinical services as required by policy and procedure
• Maintain a working knowledge of automated systems

• Bachelors Of Science Pharmacy, upon hire or Doctor Of Pharmacy Pharmacy, upon hire
• Pharmacist: AZ, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
