Western Health has an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated pharmacists to join our talented team as a Grade 2 Clinical Pharmacist - Rotational. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist looking to expand and develop their clinical and operational skills within a hospital environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Optimise patient outcomes by working to achieve Quality Use of Medicines (QUM)
  • Ensure optimal doses of the most appropriate medicine are given at the right time to the correct patient
  • Support prescribers and patients to maximise clinical benefits of medicines and minimise risk
  • Maintain professional competence and continuing education activities
  • Assist in teaching pharmacy students and pharmacy interns
  • Support education, research and operational activities within the department

Requirements:

  • Provide expert professional knowledge across a broad range of clinical and operational areas
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Develop and maintain information technology skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Be able to work across multiple sites
