Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Pharmacist to join our Hospital at Home team at Baptist Downtown. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This Pharmacist will be checking patient orders, authorizations, dispensing medications, will be supervising technicians, and consulting with other medical staff on medication and regimens. This Pharmacist will have the autonomy to work independently.

  • Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor
  • Supervising technicians and serves on committees as assigned
  • Answering questions for all health care professionals
  • Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff
  • Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Pharmacist license in the State of Florida
  • In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Registered Pharmacist
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensed Pharmacist

Nice to have:

  • IV Room/ Infusion experience
  • completed PGY1
  • Doctorate
  • 1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
  • Residency Training
  • Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems
