Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Operations Lead Nurse to join our amazing and dedicated contact centre team in Manchester. Please note the role is hybrid 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, and 4 weeks of induction/training will be conducted at the Office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and be responsible for the delivery of our clinical NHS Patient services team
  • Ensure effective delivery of virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment
  • Lead and be responsible for the provision of excellent customer service to patients
  • Provide clinical advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey

Requirements:

  • Nursing degree and registration with the NMC
  • Minimum three years post qualification nursing experience
  • Previous experience in Ophthalmology, Theatre, General Surgery or Outpatients
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Commercial awareness with passion for delivering high standards of customer service and clinical care
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction
  • Ability to lead and motivate a remote team to deliver great results
  • Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other
