Job Responsibility

Assist medical staff with patient preparation, examinations, and procedures, including patient interviews, data documentation, and vital signs monitoring
Participate in implementing the nursing process by providing direct care to patients under the guidance of an RN or LPN
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, restocking, and proper equipment setup
Ensure complete, accurate, and timely communication of patient information within the healthcare team
Collect and process specimens for diagnostic testing following policy guidelines
Accurately document all patient care provided in the medical record according to medical center policy
Maintain competency for point of care testing as assigned, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, colleagues, patients, and family members in a professional and positive manner
Take personal responsibility and initiative for professional growth and development
Provide age/developmentally appropriate patient care following guidelines for the clinical population served
