Job Description

The Clinical Nurse Partner provides patient care under the direct supervision of an RN. Nursing interventions are performed according to the multidisciplinary care plan or as otherwise directed according to the policies and procedures of Emanate Health. The Clinical Nurse Partner is responsible for contributing to the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic milieu through prompt reporting of observed behavior, milieu processes and other pertinent information. Close attention is paid to environmental conditions, promotion of appropriate social interaction and activities on and off the unit that are age specific to patient populations. He/she is responsible for his/her own professional growth and for identification of opportunities to improve the delivery of patient care. Transports medications and requests to and from Pharmacy/Nurse on a non-routine basis when necessary.

Requirements

  • One year nurse assistant experience is required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Current Certified Nurse Assistant
  • BLS required
  • Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required upon hire/transfer
  • Must be available to work every other weekend

Nice to have

Previous psychiatric experience preferred
