Clinical Nurse Partner (CNA) - Psych

• Provides patient care under the direct supervision of an RN
• Contributes to maintenance of a safe and therapeutic milieu through prompt reporting of observed behavior, milieu processes and other pertinent information
• Pays close attention to environmental conditions, promotion of appropriate social interaction and activities on and off the unit that are age specific to patient populations
• Responsible for own professional growth and identification of opportunities to improve patient care
• Transports medications and requests to and from Pharmacy/Nurse on a non-routine basis when necessary

• One year nurse assistant experience is required
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Current Certified Nurse Assistant
• BLS required
• Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required upon hire/transfer
• Must be available to work every other weekend

Previous psychiatric experience preferred
