Job Description:

Ethos Care is recruiting a compassionate and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) who will play a key role in shaping the delivery of person-centred, high-quality care in our new nursing home opening in Ballygunner, Waterford. As a CNM, you will support the Person in Charge in leading the nursing team, maintaining clinical excellence, and ensuring the home operates in line with HIQA standards and Ethos policies. You will contribute to creating a warm and supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion.

Job Responsibility:

Provide leadership, clinical supervision, and guidance to nursing and care teams
Support the PIC with the overall management and operation of the nursing home
Promote and uphold a person-centred culture aligned with Ethos values
Contribute to safeguarding through effective oversight and reporting
Maintain a caring, respectful environment that addresses residents’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs
Work flexibly, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Requirements:

Third-level nursing degree
Active NMBI registration with PIN
Minimum 6 years post-registration nursing experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a nursing home setting
Management experience is desirable
Post-registration qualification in healthcare management (or willingness to undertake)
Demonstrated clinical competency and passion for high-quality elder care
