Job Description:

The Clinical Nurse Educator-Adult Acute Care is a competent professional nurse who possesses advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in the teaching-learning process. Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Nursing Operations and in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer and applicable Department Directors, the Clinical Nurse Educator designs, organizes, implements, and evaluates generalized, as well as focused adult learning activities and programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, and competency of direct clinical nursing care providers in arenas providing medical/surgical care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designs, organizes, implements, and evaluates generalized, as well as focused adult learning activities and programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, and competency of direct clinical nursing care providers in arenas providing medical/surgical care
  • Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator
  • Shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • ACLS upon hire
  • PALS upon hire
  • NIHSS upon hire

Nice to have:

  • ANCC Nursing Professional Development certification, if not in possession at time of hire, must acquire within 3 years of hire
  • TNCC
