Clinical Neuropsychologist - Pediatric Hematology & Oncology

Provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to the patients, to measure and monitor neuro-cognitive development and provide recommendations related to neuropsychological changes and referrals to other services for any psychological concerns

• Doctoral level training in Clinical Neuropsychology from an accredited university
• Registered or eligible for registration as a psychologist or psychologist in supervised practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario for the practice of neuropsychology
• Minimum of two years recent, relevant experience working with children and adolescents
• Demonstrated consultation skills and ability to work flexibly with multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience providing supervision, teaching, and training
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and quality improvement
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
• Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide education to health care providers, students, and community
• Interest in developing and participating in research

• Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university an asset
• Clinical training and current experience in neuropsychological assessment with adults also an asset
• Knowledge and experience with neuro-oncological diagnoses, such as brain tumors and leukemia’s, as well as exposure to associated neurological sequelae including seizures, stroke, and other blood disorders, would be an asset
• A candidate who is also trained as a Clinical Psychologist would be an asset to offer psycho-diagnostic and psychoeducational assessment
• Proficiency in both Official Languages, French and English, is considered an asset
