Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative team within a firm that is genuinely passionate about putting client care at the forefront of what they do.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of high value Clinical Negligence cases from inception to completion with the assistance of a Paralegal
  • Working alongside a Partner on more complex, multi-million-pound claims

Requirements:

Previous experience of handling high value Clinical Negligence cases from inception to completion

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience managing clinical negligence matters on behalf of defendants (or complex claimant-side experience with a willingness to transition)
  • Excellent knowledge of the CPR and solid technical legal skills
  • Strong advocacy and case management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, meet financial targets and deliver results
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated and capable of working autonomously when required
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is advantageous

  • Support junior team members and contribute to internal and external training and networking activities
  • Achieve billing and chargeable targets while maintaining exceptional client service standards
